The song embodies going through the journey of escaping your personal struggles and making the worries you once had seem “so far away.” My representation is emerging from the bottom of the jagged abyss climbing your way out while the struggle represented by the sword cuts you the entire climb up. However, once you reach the top and have overcome the struggle, you grab the handle of the pain that once hurt you and wield the struggles as a tool to fight the next battle ahead.
